【Go to と Visit】
（ポイント） go to 場所 / visit 場所（visitの後にはtoはつかない）行くと訪問すると訳は変わることがありますが、意味はほぼ同じです
（わたしの）休日の間、鎌倉に行きました-------> During my holiday I went to Kamakura.

私はそこへ一人で行きました-------> I went there alone.
私はそこを一人で行きました-------> I visited there alone.

【立ち寄る：drop by, drop at, stop by, drop at】
帰る途中でコンビニに寄りたい-------> On the way back, I want to drop by / drop at / stop by / stop at/ a convenience store.
【eager, reluctant 形容詞】【reluctantly, eagerly 副詞】
eager-----> （形容詞）切望した、熱心な
reluctant -------> （形容詞）気乗りしない、渋々の、不承不承の
Eager beaver-------> 頑張り屋、仕事の虫
わたしはあなたの友人に会うのを熱望している--------> I’m eager to meet your friend.
パーティへ一人で行くのは気乗りしない--------> I’m reluctant to go to the party alone.
パーティへ1人で行くのは気乗りしなかったけれど、それは楽しかった---------> I was reluctant to go to the party alone, but it was fun.
彼女の離婚以来、彼女はデートするのは気乗りしない--------> Since her divorce she has been reluctant to date.
あなたがあのグループに参加する時は、最初は質問をするのは気乗りしないかもしれない--------> When you join that group, at first you may be reluctant to to ask questions.
梅雨の間、天気が良さそうでも外出は気乗りしません---------> During the rainy season even when it looks like a nice day I am reluctant to go out.
私が友人のキャシーにフェイスブックに友達登録してと頼んだ時、彼女はいいよと言ったけれど、嫌々って感じだった------> When I asked my friend, Casey, to friend me on Facebook, she said yes, but she seemed reluctant. (下線のfriendは動詞でSNSなどで友達リストに追加するという意味）
洗車するのは気乗りしなかったけど、そのあと快適にドライブできた---------> I was reluctant to wash my car, but afterword I was able to very comfortably drive.
娘を訪問した間の3日間バラの花は咲いていたけれど、私が帰ってきたとき雑草が多くてバラの美しさを邪魔していた、私は疲れていたけど渋々草取りをした--------> While I visited my daughter for three days the roses in my garden bloomed but when I came back even though the many weeds interfered with the beauty of the roses I was so tired that I was reluctant to weed.
私は切望してグループに入りました--------> I eagerly joined the group.
私はそのグループに渋々入りました--------> I reluctantly joined the group.
梅雨の間でも私は毎日、渋々散歩します-------> Even during the rainy season I reluctantly walk every day.
友人を空港へ連れて行くことを渋々同意しました--------> I reluctantly agreed to take my friend to the airport.
【邪魔する】
interrupt 中断する、妨げる、邪魔をする(流れを止める）
＝例）２人の人が話しているところへ他のだれかが話を中断させるようなときに使う
interfere 仕方を邪魔をする、思考を邪魔する、妨げる、支障がある
＝例）赤ちゃんを抱っこしている母親が、書類を書いている途中で赤ちゃんが泣きだし、そのまま書類を書き続けることができるが、いったん書くのを止めるような中断
My cut finger interferes with my typing. -----> 指を切るとタイプするのに支障がある
disturb 雰囲気を邪魔する
Do not disturb. 入室禁止（ホテルのドアノブにかけるサイン）
block 遮断する、妨害する
2つのものの間に何かが邪魔する。高い建物が景色を邪魔する、花火を見るのに邪魔する。進路途中にものが置いてあって邪魔

【亡くなる、死ぬ】
die(現在形）、died(過去形） ------> (動詞)・死ぬ、死亡する、枯れる、（機械が）停止する、（バッテリーが）切れる
dead ------>(形容詞）死んでいる、枯れた、（バッテリーが）切れた
dying------> (形容詞）死にかけている、（バッテリーが）切れかけている
この植物は枯れた--------> This plant died. （過去の出来事）
この植物は枯れている-------> This plant is dead. （今の状態）
彼女の死-------> her death
彼女は癌で危篤です（直訳：死にかけている）--------> He is dying of / from lung cancer.
彼女が子どもだった時、彼女のご両親は亡くなりました-------> When she was a child her parents died.
彼女のご両親は2年前にお亡くなりになりました-------> Her parents passed away two years ago. (passed awayを使うのはまだ悲しみの中にいる、比較的年月の浅い時）
彼女の亡き夫------> Her late husband
(映画「コンテイジョン」で医師が病院で患者さんが亡くなったことを知らせる時、"Your wife is dead."と言っています。）
