79th Atomic Bomb Ceremony in Nagasaki City
Six Ambassadors from US, UK, France, Germany, Italy & Canada as well as EU boycotted 79th Atomic Bomb Ceremony in Nagasaki City protesting the City not inviting Israel together with Russia & Belarus. The Ceremony is intended to offer prayers for Atomic Bomb victims totaling over 70 thousand instantaneously or in agony and over 170 thousand including those dead by radioactive disease up to now, and prayer for the World without Nukes. If so, while all countries and regions should have been invited, it became worst Ceremony in recent years because such prayers for victims and prayers for the World without nuclear weapons were divided by rivalry of those 6 countries all of which belong to NATO, western military alliance, against Russia, and rivalry & hatred between Israel and Palestine. They criticized the Nagasaki City for politicizing the Ceremony, but the same words would be returned to them.
These 6 NATO countries and Japan constitute G7. It appears now to the public eyes, to be a mere international group rather than a global group or leader. Unfortunately people realize now that Globalization process is dead over differences of political values and religion. Now we need a strong leadership if we ever bring about coexistence between different values and belief on this Glove. (2024.8.9.)
