サンフランシスコでの展示会

サンフランシスコのノースビーチにあるカフェ、ヴェスヴィオで４月から一ヶ月間、ピーター・オンスタッドと一緒に作品の展示が始まる。　狭い場所なので作品の数は少ないが最近の作品を主に飾る予定。

When was the last time you had a great conversation over a good beer looking at recent works of Northern California artists?

Two artists from Mendocino County will be showing their works at legendary Beatnik hangout Vesuvio’s Cafe in San Francisco’s North Beach through the month of April　2016.

Please join the legend and keep the tradition while seeing real people, and be a part of the history of San Francisco at 2nd of April at Vesuvio.

Peter Onstad was born in Mexico City and grew up in San Francisco.
He left S.F. to live and work in New York, upon returning to San Francisco, he received his Master of Fine Arts degree from the San Francisco Art Institute in 1973.

James Hagami was born in Okayama, Japan and came to US in 1970.
He attended the College of the Dayton Art Institute in Ohio, and moved to California in 1978. He now lives in Laytonville.

Mendocino Sky

４月１日からのサンフランシスコのヴェスヴィオでやる展示会が近づいて来た。
一緒にするピーターが、どんな作品を出すのか見たいというので、丁度出来たばかりの”メンドーシノ・スカイ”と名付けた小品の写真を撮ってメールで送った。１１ｘ１４のキャンヴァスにアクリルで我が家の裏庭からの空の景色を描いたものだ。

Last Saturday's Storm 3-5-2016

昨年のウインターストームで傾いていたマドロンの木が、土曜日のストームで完全に折れてしまった。



まだ回りの木に引っかかっているので完全に倒れていないが、そのうち切り倒して薪にしておかないと、何時倒れるか不安定で危険だ。

Reunion after 43 years

なんと気が付いてみると今年になって初めてのブログのようだ。
年末年始と色々あって書き込みする気になれなかったのかもしれない。



３月４日金曜日に４３年ぶりにオハイオ州デイトンでの学友とサウサリトで再開した。　懐かしい昔話に花が咲いた。
