DVD Movie Introduction

Good Morning,

Kumamoto International Center has 233 DVD collection available and this service is free of charge.

Collection offers English, Chinese and also has different languages such as Arabic,Persian and so on.

Among these collection, one of my favorite movie is Munich

This movie directed by Steven Spielberg and has very strong cast  that nominated 5 Academy Awards.

This movie is about during the 1972 Olympic  Israeli government's secret retaliation attack after the massacre of Israeli athletes.

If you wish to come in and watch one the movie from our collection first,

1. Please go to 2. floor where the all the DVDs are,

2. Choose your movie case and give it to one of the staff member, support volunteer,

3. Then we will give you DVD, headset and remote,

4. And we will assist you to Video Room and you are set the watch.

インターン生の長田と隈が新聞の取材をされました

こんにちは

インターン生の長田と隈です

タイトルにもあるのですが、日経新聞さんがインターンシップを取り上げるということで、カメラマンの方が写真を撮りにいらっしゃいました

自然に！自然に！って言われても写真って少し恥ずかしいですよね（笑）

また、この熊本市国際交流会館のインターンシップは、どうですか？と聞かれました

私たちの仕事は１階と２階のカウンター（情報ボードの管理、レンタサイクルの貸し出しの受付、観光案内、講座やサロンの受付、DVDと本の貸し出しなど）

それから、サロンやイベントのお手伝いもさせていただいています。

最初は、３ヶ月は長いと思っていましたが、もう２ヶ月も過ぎてしまいました

残すとこ１ヶ月となりましたが、学ぶことも多く本当に楽しくインターンシップさせていただいています

終わったら本当に寂しいと思います

職員の方をはじめ、サポートボランティアの方達は、本当に優しいです

トルコ料理(Turkish Cuisine)

Good Morning

My name is Hasan, I came from Canada and I am also Turkish.

I will be cooking 3 different  famous Turkish food   on July 5 at NanbuKouminkan.

Turkish Food one of the top 3 Cuisine in the world. Cuisine has long history and has many many delicious food.

On that day I will try to make  famous Greenpepper Dolma, Melemen and Zuccihini/Carrots mix appetizer.

私は、カナダから来たトルコ人のハサンです

世界三大料理（フランス、中国、トルコ料理）の１つ、トルコ料理を７月５日に

南部公民館で作ることになりました。

Greenpepper Dolma, Melemen and Zuccihini/Carrots mix appetizer.を作ります。ピーマン、米、玉ねぎ、トマト、ズッキーニ、ヨーグルト、にんにく、などを使い大変美味しい料理を作ります

１階の中央にございます海外パンフレットコーナーと

２階の階段を登ってすぐ右側に

イギリスをはじめとするヨーロッパ各地の

パンフレット・本・ＤＶＤを展示しております

これらは全てご自由に観覧できますので

お気軽にお立ち寄りください

レンタサイクル(Bike Rental)

国際交流会館で自転車を借りる事ができます。

観光に来ていただいたら是非自転車で熊本を楽しんでください。

私のお勧めは熊本城と水前寺成趣園と上通りと下通りです。

買い物をしたり美味しいものを食べるのも楽しいです。

６月から、熊本の駐輪場が有料になり駐輪場も増えるのでサイクリングするのには最適です

普通自転車・・・６時間以内（３００円）

　　　　　　　　　　1日（９：００～２１：３０）５００円

電動アシスト車・・・６時間以内（５００円）

　　　　　　　　　　１日（９：００～２１：３０）７００円

　　　※電動アシスト車の場合は身分証明書が必要です

Kumamoto International Centrer has bicycle rental.

When you visit to city please use our rental service.

When you rent a bike you can enjoy a Kumamoto Castle, Suizenji park  sightseeing spots and after you can go to Kamitori and Shimotori for shopping and eating.

From June 1 bicycle parking areas require a payment. But there are some areas in the city which might have free spots for parking.

Regular Bicycle... for 6 hours (300yen)

                            for 1 day (9:00～21:30)500yen

Electric power-assisted bicycles... for 6 hours(500yen)

                           for 1 day (9:00～21:30)700yen

If you wish to rent a power assisted bike you have to show identification.
