外国人犯罪

外国人に犯罪については捜査・報道など在日外人から不平も多い。
我々もしっかり吟味しよう。

　青森県警三沢署は２０日、同県三沢市内のラブホテルに入り込んだ疑いで、米軍三沢基地所属の米兵ローレンス・Ａ・ボップ・ジュニア容疑者（２１）を住居侵入の疑いで現行犯逮捕した。東北防衛局によると、ボップ容疑者は１級空兵。

　三沢署の調べによると、ボップ容疑者は２０日午前３時５０分ごろ、三沢市三沢の平屋建てのラブホテルの天井裏を壊して客室の中に入った疑い。

　宿泊中の男性（３８）が見つけ、従業員が１１０番通報した。ボップ容疑者は壁伝いに屋根に上り、屋根の小窓を割って天井裏に侵入したという。酒に酔った状態だった。

　ホテル関係者によると、ホテルは満室だった。「ガラスがバリバリに割られ、考えられない。基地関係者の利用も多いが、迷惑だ」と話した。

　三沢基地をめぐっては、１級空兵が今年５月、同県八戸市の路上で女性に抱きつくなどして強制わいせつ容疑で逮捕された。６月から８月には、米兵３人が道路交通法違反（酒気帯び運転）の疑いで書類送検されている。2008年9月20日11時31分

　発表によると、ボップ・ジュニア容疑者は同日午前３時５０分ごろ、同県三沢市のモテル天井から、客室に侵入した疑い。

　平屋建てのモテルの外壁づたいに高さ約３メートルの屋根に登り、客室の天井裏に入り込んだところ、重みで天井に穴が開いて室内に落下。客室にいた男性が１１０番し、駆けつけた署員に逮捕された。容疑者は当時、酒に酔っていたといい、署はどうやって天井裏に入ったかなどを調べている。

Well the Indians didnt believe in land ownership and were unable to unite against the Europeans so they only have themselves to blame. The Japanese conqured the Okinawans and the Ainu and I dont hear allot of complaining about that. I think nearly every country on the planet has had some sort of “ethnic cleansing” in its past. It pretty much boils down to who is the strongest, equality comes latter

　アメリカンインディアンのジェノサイドについては、ホロコースト同然と言われている。

The Colorado Legislature passed a resolution comparing the deaths of millions of American Indians to the Holocaust and other acts of genocide around the world.

The nonbinding measure passed 22-12 in the Senate and 59-4 in the House after some lawmakers protested that it unfairly condemned all Europeans for injustices against Indians.

The resolution passed Wednesday says Europeans intentionally caused many American Indian deaths and that early American settlers often treated Indians with "cruelty and inhumanity."

It specifically mentions the forced removal of the Cherokee Nation in 1838 and the 1864 Sand Creek massacre in Colorado. It also refers to deaths due to disease that were intensified by forced migrations, food deprivation and enslavement by Europeans.

"Colleagues, this resolution is a recognition that up 120 million indigenous people have died as a result of European migration to what is now the United States of America," said sponsor Sen. Suzanne Williams, a Democrat who is a Comanche Indian.The Associated Press

　こんなトピックばかり集めて一国を論じ、また、一国の偏見を創出するのは愚かでしょ。

Aesthetics.

Aesthetics. この前、紀伊国屋で立ち読みして、気になって買った本。
まあ、美学関係ってのは数冊読んでいるのだが、入門書としては、以前紹介したFilm, Art, and Filmartのほうがずっとわかりやすい。　
　面白い論点やどうでもよい論点もぐちゃぐちゃ紹介しているが、自分として、芸術とは、経験に新しいに照明を当てたり、新しい視点から新たな経験の可能性を提供する作品である、くらいおおざっぱな理解で、いろんな作品は楽しめるんではないか、と思うようになってきた。その時代や文化の人々の葛藤や問題提起あるいは、理想、作者の認識・感性や、人間理解の深さを楽しめばよい。別に厳密な定義ではない。これでは、科学や宗教との違いも明かではないが、素人には、というより、自分にはこれで十分なように思える。

　思考力も感覚も鈍ってじじいになったら、芸術鑑賞などしながら老後を過ごそうという魂胆である。

　この本でなにが目にとまったかというと、カントの美学の説明。テクニカルなところは、上記、Film, Art, and Filmartの方がわかりやすい。面白いのは切り口で、言われてみれば、そうなのだが、カントの倫理学や美学といった批判書って、合理論や経験論の統合でもあるが、ユダヤキリスト教の世俗化版なんだね。
　で、美というものがいうに言われぬ崇高さを表現する、というか、そうした崇高さ我々の魂に触発する。崇高さの情念とは、巨大な自然の前に立ったときに己が無にひとしいように感じる畏敬のようなもので、やっぱ、神のイメージがある。

　ところが、この崇高さがある特定の表象、国家や民族に結ぶつくと全体主義に利用されちまう。神が偶像をつくるな、って言ったという意味もこんなところにあるのかね？

　現代芸術で、単なる、チンケな段ボール箱が芸術のように扱われ、それによって新しい芸術論が生まれたが、まあ、そこらへんはあまり興味ないね。
