The government and the ruling parties have decided ,on June 26,a draft plan that requires the country's expenditures cuts over the next five years in order to make the country's finances,both of the central government and the local governments, more healthy.In order to make the so-called primary balance of the country get back on the black ink by the year 20011, the money of about 16.5 trillion yen has to be coped with.According to the draft plan, of that money 11.4 -14.3 trillion yen would come by implementing expenditures cuts in various ways.The remaining should come by raising consumption tax rate. Then from now on, to which extent and when the consumption rate will be raised will become a focal point.
