Pioneer Corporation has entered its final satge for completely withdrawing from the production of the panels for plasma television sets. Because of its successive deficits of the business amidst fierce competition in the industry, the company intends to stop its production of the material and instead purchase the materila from Matsushita Electric Industrial, and then specialize in aseembling TV sets. After the the Pioneer's quit of plasama panel production, the production is to be concentrated into only the two companies: Matsushita and Hitachi, in Japan.
