The Social Policy Council,an advisory panel to the prime minister,of the Cabinet office,has urgently compiled a report on the food security in the wake of recent tainted China-exported gyoza incident.According to the outline of the report,they will unify the current complicated and multiple regulations on the food label into a more simple and efficient one, and revise the current way of indicating the date of a food expiry.Proposed new initiatives include the establishment of experts in analyzing consumers' complaints on the food.
