The Norinchukin Bank has entered into a final negotiation with U.S. Citigroup,which is a parent company of Nikko Cordial,that the Norinchukin will acquire Nikko Principal Investments,a big investment company under the control of Nikko Cordial group, for more than 400 billion yen, with the ageement expected to be reached in September.The Norinchukin aims to strengthen its operation by boosting its stock investment activity after taking the investment company.
