北島康介少年の手紙

平泳ぎの北島康介選手が小学生の時、書いた作文です。

①オリンピック選手になるという明確な夢を、彼はこの時既に持っていました。
②その夢を実現する為に、毎日プールで練習をしていました。
③自分を育ててくれた学校のプールへの感謝の気持ちを忘れませんでした。
夢、努力、感謝・・・。これが彼を偉大なゴールドメダリストにしたのです。

① He had the dream to be a Olympic swimmer,when he was a boy.
② He had been swimming at the pool every day to make his dream come true.
③ He didn't forget to be thankful to the pool of his school for having brought him up.
