【説得する convince、 persuade 、 talk 人　into 動名詞】

convince　論理的に説得する
persuade　感情的に説得する

She talked me into going.　　彼女はわたしに行くことを説得した

tried to convince/ persuade　説得したが失敗した

I tried to persuade my husband let me work again at my office.
わたしはもう１度会社で働くことを夫に説得したがダメだった

→（talk 人 into 動名詞）　言い換え
I talked my husband into letting me work again at my office. But he didn't.

【比較級】

A panda is cuter than a bear. 　　単数でも可

A bare is not as cute as a panda. 熊はパンダほどかわいくない（意味は上の文と同じ）

（復習）
　～is 形容詞　＋　er ＋　than・・・（一音節の形容詞の場合）
　～is more 形容詞　＋　than ・・・（二音節以上の形容詞）
　～isn't as 形容詞原型 as ・・・～は・・・ほど（形容詞）でない

Watching a movie at home isn't as impressive as a theater.
うちで映画を見ることは映画館で見るほど印象がよくない

A low place isn't as cool as a high place.
低い所は高いところほど涼しくない


【get,give,hand,　手渡すときの表現（復習）手に関することの表現】

＊日本語では　そのチョークが　部屋にあろうと、別の場所にあろうと「取ってきて下さい」ですが、英語ではそれが、見える場所にあるか、手の届く場所にあるか、状況によって【動詞】が変わります
