画家のツブヤキ ０５６ カプリチョーソ Capriccioso

カプリチオォソと発音してオォーのところにアクセントがある。　音楽用語で速度記号の一種、意味は“気まぐれに演奏する”ことですが、絵画の世界ではこういったものが無い。　私の絵画の制作過程が、音楽の演奏に似た感じがあるので思いついたタイトルです。

キーコードを決めて１・４・５のコード・プログレスで１２バーのブルースをジャムするような感じ。メインのテーマ・メロディーが描かれリズムでテンポを維持し制作の拡大と前進で表現されていくようなものかな。　

どちらにしても必要最小限度のルールは守らないと音楽にもならないし絵にもならない。つまり完全に気まぐれにやると形にならないので意味がない。

とはいっても気まぐれに描くことなら以前にやったことはあるが、そういったタイトルを付けてより気まぐれに描いたのだが、無意識のうちに気まぐれを出しているのと意識的に気まぐれを出そうとするのでは、どちらがより気まぐれになるのか分からない。

特にこの絵で違うのは絵の具である。　いつものリキテックスでなくディスカウント・ショップで買った工作用の安価な絵の具が残っていたので、初めて絵画用に使ってみた。質が悪いので表面がずいぶんフラットに見えて、今までに無い感じが出た。

Capriccioso is a musical terminology, a tempo mark meaning “to be played in a free and lively style”. I took it to be free and as I feel like style, and that is how I approach this small painting of 12x16 on a Masonite board.

Sometimes the way I paint is like playing music. It goes first to set the key code, then 1-4-5 code progression in 12 bars. Initiate theme of the melody then keep progressing with rhythms in tempo. Put nice touch of licks or shapes and colors in right places at the right time to make a good painting.

It’s spontaneous and usually I don’t see the end image at beginning. This type of painting is my favorite way compare to painting a realistic image.

A lot of elements for music and paintings are similar in many ways, like balance and harmony for example, there are both important element of music and art. It’s the balance of tone and strength in sound or color, and the harmony of all involved in audio or visual.
