毛無山 JA/NN-107 SOTA運用

5月29日の土曜日、野沢温泉村の毛無山へSOTA運用に出かけた。さすが春先までスキー場営業をしていただけあって、登り口付近にはまだ雪が残っていた。
On Saturday, May 29, I went to Mt. Kenashi in Nozawa Onsen Village for SOTA activation. Until recently, the ski resort was open, so there was still snow near the trailhead.


今回も熊対策でゲレンデの管理道路から登る。
Climb the slope management road to avoid seeing bears.

↓山頂の電波塔まであと少し。

電波塔の3階が展望台になっているので、そこからオンエアする。
The 3F of the tower is an observatory. On air from there.

先ずは群馬の山に登ってるBOK局とTWで連絡しUHF/FMでS2S。
Chat on TW with BOK-san already climbed. S2S-QSO by HP radio.

その後HF運用の準備をする。
Prepare for HF operation.

↓ザックをおもりにして、窓からANT用釣り竿を突き出す。

↑With a backpack as a weight, put out an fishing rod as ANT.

先ずは先行局のDGT局、CTV局とS2S-QSO。
First of all, S2S-QSO with DGT-san and CTV-san.

14MHzから運用開始。 Start from 14MHz.

今日はDXのCONDXが悪いのか、アンテナが悪いのかDX無し。
The DX CONDX is bad or the ANT is bad, there is no DX.

その代わり国内Esは開けている様で、1,3エリアから呼ばれた。
Instead, the JA's Es opened. Called from areas 1 and 3.

21MHzへQSY。 QSY to 21MHz.

DXは台湾とインドネシアからのコールのみ。
DX is only for calls from Taiwan and Indonesia.

こちらも国内Esが開けていて、0,1,3,7エリアとつながる。
JA's Es is also opened, QSO with 0,1,3 and 7 areas.

7MHzにQSY。 QSY to 7MHz.

国内CONDXは良い様で、0,1,2,3,7,9エリアとつながる。
JA's　CONDX is good. QSO with 0,1,2,3,7 and 9 areas.

2座目に移動したBOK局ともS2S。
S2S with the BOK-san that moved to the second summit.

J-クラスタにも載った様で、かなりのパイルアップを受ける。
May be Up on the J-cluster, so it is quite a pile-up.

結局、7MHzを終えるのに1時間ほどかかってしまった。
It took about an hour to QSO at the 7MHz.

XYLの方は、ビームが使い難くモビホ運用だが、VUHFで8-QSO。
XYL uses mobile-whip for ANT. 8-QSO at V/UHF SSB and FM.

その後、7MHz/SSBにQSY。Then, she QSY to 7MHz/SSB.

CONDXが良く沢山呼ばれる。
CONDX is good. She was piled-up.

途中から1KHz上に強力なQRM。
After a while, a heavy QRM from 1KHz above.

これだと弱い局は取れない。他の周波数を探しQSY。
Weak signals cannot received. QSY to other frequency.

何とかQSY後に数局こなして、途切れた所でQRT。
After QSY, she QSO with several stations and QRT at the call stoped.

そうこうしているうちに、外は一面ガスに包まれた。
While doing so, the outside was covered with fog.

↓ガスが濃くなってほとんど視界が無くなる。

↑Fog comes out and there is almost no visibility.

展望台の中へ冷たい風と共にガスが吹き抜けていく。
The fog blows through the observatory with a cold breeze.

結構寒い。It's pretty cold.

展望台の一つ手前の部屋に移り、お湯を沸かしてお昼に。
Move to the room just before, and boil water to have lunch.

↓暖かいお昼を頂く。

↑Have a warm lunch.

↓お昼も終わり、機材を撤収する。

↑After lunch, withdraw the radio.

撤収完了した所でDFO局のSPOT。泣く泣く、畳んだ釣竿を伸ばしてS2S。
When the end of the withdrawal, DFO-san SPOT on 7CW.
So I extended the fishing rod again and S2S-QSO with him.

↓再度撤収した後ガスが薄くなるまで少し休憩。

↑After withdrawing again, take a short break until the fog clears.

↓待ってもガスが晴れないので下山開始。

↑The fog did not clear, so started descending.

↓ガスの中を下って無事に車まで到着。

↑Went down in the fog and arrived at the car safely.

2021.5.29 (5/31 UP)

冠着山 JA/NN-161 SOTA運用

5月23日の日曜日に千曲市にある冠着山（別名:姨捨山）1,252m、JA/NN-161に登りSOTA運用を行った。
On Sunday, May 23, I climbed JA/NN-161 1,252m Mt.Kamuriki (also known as Obasuteyama) in Chikuma City and activated.


夏場は鳥居平の登山口まで車で行けるので、鳥居平登山口から登った。
Can drive to the Torii-daira trailhead, so climbed from there.

↓比較的整備された広い登山道を登り始める。

↑Start climbing a well-maintained wide mountain trail.

↓山頂まで600mの看板。

↑A signboard 600m to the top of the mountain.

↓道幅が狭い所も有るが比較的なだらかな登りである。

↑There are places where the road is narrow, but it is a gentle climb.

↓途中の展望台から。左奥の遠くに見えるのは王ヶ頭だ。

↓展望台から間もなく山頂に到着。

↑Arrived at the summit shortly after the observatory.

↓山頂からみた南東～東。右奥が蓼科山。蓼科山から北は雲海に！

↑The right back is Mt.Tateshina. North saide from there is the sea clouds!

↓山頂に着いた所で、既に開局している山頂局を追いかける。

↑When reach the summit, chase the already opened summit stations.

無線機と最低限の装備を取り出し、釣り竿は立て掛けてコールする。
Prepare the radio and the minimum equipment. And call them.


おかげで、無事にWMN局、FRE局、DGT局、PPL局と立て続けにS2S-QSO。
S2S-QSO with WMN-san, FRE-san, DGT-san and PPL-san.

追っかけてる途中で、アンテナを担いだ2人連れが登って来た。
While chasing, two people with antennas climbed up.

簡単にご挨拶と話をした。
I briefly greeted and talked.

聞くと6m屋さんで、5エレを上げて移動運用するとの事。
They are 6m mania, and they build 5-ele yagi and operate at summit.

うちとはバッティングしなさそうだ。
Their operating frequencies do not overlap with us.

↓追っかけが一段落した所で、ステーを張りアンテナを建て機材準備。

↑When the chase was over, built an antenna and prepare the equipment.

いつもの様に14MHzからスタート。今日は国内Esも開けてる。
Start from 14MHz as usual. Domestic Es is also open today.

台湾、インドネシア、北米、オーストラリアに加えて国内からもコール。
Calls from JAs in addition to Taiwan, Indonesia, NA and Australia.

21MHzQSY前に、2VVH局、MHA局、SYG局、EWV局、8J1局とS2S-QSO。
Before QSY, S2S with 2VVH-san, MHA-san, SYG-san and EWV-san.

今日は沢山の山頂局が出て来て、S2Sコールに忙しい。
Many summit stations are coming today and busy with S2S calls.

21MHzも国内Esが開けてて、ZL、YBに加えJAからもコール。
21MHz is opened Es, and in addition to ZL and YB, JA stations also call.



7MHzへQSY前に、MNP局、LXU局、MHA局とS2S-QSO。MHA局は2座目。
Before QSY to 7MHz, S2S-QSO with MNP-san, LXU-san, MHA-san.

7MHzも良く開けていて、1,2,3,7エリアからコール。
7MHz CONDX is good and calls from areas 1,2,3 and 7.

この後は、お昼を食べて、残りのアラート局を待つ。
After this, eat lunch and wait for the rest of the alert stations.

ここで、CTV局、AWE局、TJS局、2座目のWMN局とSYG局とS2S。
S2S QSO with CTV-san, AWE-san, TJS-san, WMN-san, SYG-san.


↓XYLの方は低山かつ山頂に木が多いので、今日はモビホを建てる。

↑Here is low mountain, so XYL build M-whip ANT today.

2m/SSBから始めると、珍しくこれだけで4-QSOクリア。
Starting from 2m/SSB, it is unusual to clear 4-QSO with just this.

しかも1局は、東京の福生市と結構飛んでいる。
Moreover, one station is Fussa City in Tokyo.(Distance is 134km)

その後、山梨のYN-036にいるCTV局とも2m/SSBでS2Sできた。
After that, S2S-QSO at 2m/SSB with the CTV-san in YN-036.

途中で、私のS2S-QSO中のSSB局はXYLも大半と交信。
On the way, the SSB QSO in my S2S, XYL QSO with most of them.

昼食後に、7/SSBでCQを出す。CONDXは少し落ちて、3,7エリア局のみ。
After lunch, CQ on 7/SSB. CONDX is dropped, so QSO with 3 and 7 only.

↓山頂から北西には北アルプスの白馬五竜方面が雲の下に見える。

↑From summit, can see the Hakuba Goryu in the Northern Alps.

↓午後一に出て来る山頂局も概ね取れた様なので、撤収して下山開始。

↑Finish QSO with almost summits, so withdrew and started descending.

↓下山途中に少しだけレンゲツツジが咲き始めていた。

↑A few Japanese azaleas were beginning to bloom on the way down.

↓無事に駐車場に戻り下山完了。

↑Return to the parking lot and complete the descent.

2021.5.23 (5/24 UP)

三峰山 JA/NN-080 SOTA運用

5月15日の土曜日、長和町のJA/NN-080 三峰山1,887mに行ってSOTA運用を行った。前回の鉢伏山に続き、ここも30分程で登れる山だ。
On Saturday, May 15th, I went to JA / NN-080 Mitsumineyama 1,887m in Nagawa Town for SOTA activation. Following the previous Mt. Hatsubuse, this is also a mountain that can be climbed in about 30 minutes.


↓6時半に三峰茶屋に到着したが、辺り一面ガスの中で三峰山も見えない。

↑Arrived at Mitsumine Chaya 6AM, but couldn't see Mt.Mitsumine by gas.

↓登り始めても、相変わらずガスの中で、山頂も見えない。

↑Even when I started climbing, couldn't see the summit in the gas.

↓視界も無いので、景色に見とれる事もなく30分程で山頂到着。

↑Poor visibility. Couldn't see the scenery, so arrived to summit 30min.


↓機材を展開して14MHzからスタート。

↑Prepare the equipment and start from 14MHz.

DXはニュージー、インドネシア、台湾、北米からコール。
Called from New Zealand, Indonesia, Taiwan and North America.

Esも開けてて、DGT局,JNM局,CTV局とのS2Sを含めたJA局からもコール。
Es is open, QSO with JAs includ S2S with DGT-san,JNM-san and CTV-san.

21MHzへQSY途中で7MHzでWGK局とS2S。
S2S-QSO with WGK-san at 7MHz on the way to 21MHz QSY.

21MHzではインドネシア、ニュージーからコール。
Call from Indonesia New Zealand at 21MHz.

↓相変わらずガスがひどくアンテナ線から水滴がPCやKX2の上に落ちる。

↑Due to the gas, water droplets from ANT wire drop to the PC and KX2.

7MHzに行く前に18MHzのSPOTを見つけたので、WMN局,BOK局ともS2S。
Before QSY to 7MHz, found 18MHz SPOT, so S2S with WMN-san, BOK-san.

7MHzに移ると、こちらもCONDXが良く、1,2,3,4,7エリアとQSO。
At 7MHz, CONDX is also good here, QSO with 1,2,3,4 and 7 areas.

XYLの方はどうもMICの調子が悪く、FT-817では0-QSO。
At XYL, the MIC of FT-817 is bad condition, so she is 0-QSO.

↓FT-817を諦めて、KX2で7/SSBにてCQを出す。

↑Give up FT-817. She CQ from KX2 on 7/SSB.

IOT局もSSBで呼んで来てくれS2S-QSOでようやく4-QSOクリア。
Call from IOT-san on SSB with S2S-QSO. She finally clear 4-QSO.

↓規定局数をクリアした所でお昼ご飯にする。

↑We have lunch when she cleared the specified number of QSO.

この頃には何とかガスも晴れ天気も良くなってきた。
By this time, the gas is clear and the weather were getting better.

↓昼食後は、PJZ局のオンエア情報を得て、5el+VX-3でS2Sトライアル。

↑After lunch, get info. of PJZ-san on the air. So try S2S with 5el+VX-3.

山頂+5elだが1Wの為か、関東各局のパイルが凄く、やっとこさQSO。
From summit and use 5el, but because pow is 1W, the pile from Kanto were strong, so call many times and finally get S2S-QSO.

その後、TJS局、QBZ局とも433/FMでS2S-QSO。
After that, S2S-QSO at 433/FM with TJS-san and QBZ-san.

最後は、ビームを東に向けて、IZY局向けCQ。無事にIZY局ともQSO。
Next, 5el is directed east and CQ for IZY-san. And QSO with IZY-san.

↓北方向はJA/NN-067王ヶ頭の鉄塔群が見える。

↑In the north, can see the many towers on JA/NN-067 Ougatou.

↓南方向は、JA/NN-076霧ヶ峰（車山）のレーダーサイトが見える。

↑In the south, can see the radar site on JA/NN-076 Kirigamine.

お昼ごろにサミットに着いたMNP局、IPR局と7MHzでS2S-QSO。
S2S-QSO at 7MHz with MNP-san and IPR-san they climbed later.

2021.5.15 (5/21 UP)

立山 JA/NN-241 SOTA運用

GWの最終日の5月9日の日曜日に、小谷村のJA/NN-241立山938mへSOTA運用に行ってきた。立山と言っても富山県の立山(3,015m)ではなく、長野の北端、新潟との県境近くにある、里山だ。
On Sunday, May 9th, the last day of the Golden Week holiday, I went to JA/NN-241 Tateyama 938m in Otari Village for SOTA activation. Tateyama is not Tateyama (3,015m) in Toyama Prefecture, but a low mountain near the prefectural border with Niigata at the northern end of Nagano.

↓山頂には中継局が何局か。

↑There are several relay stations on the summit.
↓ここは山頂まで車で行けるが、道は整備されてない未舗装の林道だ。

↑Here is a summit that can be reached by car, but road isn't maintain.

↓昼前に山頂に着くと沢山のクマバチが飛んでいた。

↑Arrived at the summit before noon, many carpenter bees were flying.

↓長居をすると刺されそうなので、KX2で簡単に済まそうと思った。

↑If stay long, may be stung by a bee. I tried to QSO quickly with KX2.

しかし、この時間の7/SSBのCONDXは悪く、全く応答なし。
However, the 7/SSB CONDX was bad and there was no response at all.

次にKX2で14/21のCWに出るが、ニュージー2局に沖縄局と3-QSO。
Next, CQ on 14 and 21 CW, but only 3-QSO with 2-ZLs and an Okinawa.

長野ローカル局と連絡を取りながらいくつか試すが、QSO出来ず。
I negotiated with AWE-san on FB and tried other bands, but couldn't QSO.

そうこうしている内に、だんだんクマバチが居なくなってきた。
While doing so, the carpenter bee gradually disappeared.

↓これなら、機材展開できそうなので、FT-857とバッテリーを準備。

↑It seems that the equipment can be deployed, so prepare the FT-857.

21で何とか4-QSO目をクリア。7CWに降りやっと長野ローカル局とQSO。
I clear 4-QSO on 21/CW. Then QSY to 7MHz. I QSO with AWE-san.

その他に4,5,7,8の局とQSO出来た。
In addition, I was able to QSO with 4, 5, 7 and 8 areas at JA.

ここは高い山に囲まれた低山なので、XYLのVU/SSBは坊主。
Here is low mountain surrounded by high mountains, VU/SSB is 0-QSO.

↓と言いう事で、XYLは、FT-857/50Wで2m/FMにでる。

↑So, XYL use FT-857/50W on 2m/FM.

ANTもモビホに替えて、何とか8-QSOで規定をクリア。
ANT also changed to M-whip. She clear the regulation with 8-QSO.

↓2人とも規定局数をクリアした所で、だいぶ遅い昼食を食べる。

↑We have a late lunch when we cleared the regulation number of QSO.

昼食が終わると、15時を回る。
After lunch, it's around 15:00/JST.

再び14MHzから出てみる。
CQ on 14MHz again.

北米とインドネシアから呼ばれたがまだCONDXはもう一つ。
Called from North America and Indonesia, but CONDX is still not good.

その後、XYLが7/SSBに出るが、CONDXは良くなく、0-QSO。
After that, XYL CQ on 7/SSB. However, CONDX is not good, so 0-QSO.

それではとCWに出ると、いくらかましで、関東各局ともQSO。
Next I CQ by CW mode, I coud QSO with Kanto stations.

↓木々の間から戸隠連峰が見える。

↑The Togakushi mountain range can be seen through the trees.

16時を回り、再び14MHzに出ると、北米、ヨーロッパ各局からコール。
Around 16:00, QSY to 14MHz again, QSO with NA and EU stations.

国内Esも出てる様で、国内局からも呼ばれる。
Es is also open, so QSO with domestic stations.

18MHzにQSY。こちらでもヨーロッパ局や国内4,6エリアから呼ばれた。
QSY to 18MHz. Called from Europe and domestic 4 and 6 areas.

18時近くなり再び14MHzにQSY。北米、EUのRBNにはまだ拾われてる。
Near 18:00, QSY to 14MHz again. Still picked up by RBN in NA and EU.

しかしCONDXはもう上がらない様で、新たには呼ばれなかった。
However, CONDX didn't go up any further, and I wasn't called anymore.

↓と言う事で、暗くなる前に撤収して下山した。

↑So I withdrew and went down the mountain before it got dark.

2021.5.9 (5/19 UP)

鉢伏山 JA/NN-075 SOTA運用

GWも終盤に差し掛かった5月6日の木曜日に、岡谷市の鉢伏山1,929mへSOTA運用に出掛けた。ここは駐車場から山頂まで30分程度と、ぎっくり腰からのリハビリにはお手頃な山である。
On Thursday, May 6th, when the Golden Week holidays were nearing the end, I went to Mt. Hachibuse (1,929m) in Okaya City for SOTA activation. It takes about 30 minutes from the parking lot to the summit, which is an affordable mountain for rehabilitation after a tight back.

↓鉢伏山荘の有料駐車場に車を停め、登り始める。

↑Park the car in the toll parking lot of Hatsubuse lodge, start climbing.

↓ここは数年前に防災ヘリが墜落した現場の近く。

↑Here is near place where the disaster prevention helicopter crashed.

ご冥福を祈り、現場に向かって手を合わせる。
Pray for souls and join hands toward the accident place.


↓30分弱で山頂到着。

↑Arrive at the summit in less than 30 minutes.

そこから少し歩いて、冒頭の写真の岡谷市最高地点へ移動。
Walk a little and move to the highest point in Okaya City in first photo.

↓北アルプスが良く見える。

↑Can see the Northern Alps well.

無線機の準備をして、先ずは14MHzからスタート。
Prepare the radio and start from 14MHz.

インドネシア、台湾、北米、オーストラリアからコール。
Call from Indonesia, Taiwan, North America and Australia.

国内Esも開けている様で、0,1エリアに加えて、4,5,8エリア共QSO。
Es is also open. In Japan, QSO with 0,1,4,5 and 8 area.

↓日差しが強く、KX2が熱暴走しない様に、日よけとファンを使用。

↑Use a shade and fan to prevent KX2 runaway due to strong sunlight.

21MHにQSYする時に、7MHz/SSBのSYG局とS2S-QSO。
S2S-QSO st 7MHz/SSB with SYG-san when QSY to 21MH.

21MHzでは、韓国、インドネシア、ニュージーと国内は沖縄とQSO。
At 21MHz, QSO with S-Korea, Indonesia, New Zealand and Okinawa.

7MHzにQSY。CONDXは良い様で、国内は4,6,8以外とQSO。
QSY to 7MHz. CONDX was good, QSO with other than 4,6,8 in Japan.

他バンドと合わせて1DayADJだ。MHA局とのS2S-QSOもゲット。
It's 1 Day ADJ together with other bands. And S2S-QSO with MHA-san.

↓XYLは、FT-817のマイクを忘れたらしい。

↑XYL forgot the FT-817's microphone.

VX-3に替え始め様としたが、ANTが近い為かKX2の電波が回り込む。
Tried to use VX-3, but ANT is close, so the radio waves of KX2 interfere.

↓少し離れて運用するしかない様で、八木を諦めモビホを直接取付け。

↑In order to operate it away, gave up Yagi and attached M-whip directly.

SYG局とのS2Sと、2mFMで3-QSOで、規定の4-QSOをクリア。
Clear the 4-QSOs include S2S-QSO with SYG-san and 3-QSO on 2m/FM.

その後7MHz/SSBに出て、1.2,3エリアとQSOした様だ。
After that, She QSO on 7MHz/SSB with 1,2 and 3 area in JA.

↓山頂からは遠くに富士山も見えていた。

↑Mt. Fuji was also visible in the distance from the summit.

お昼を食べながら、NDT局、DFO局ともS2S-QSO。
S2S-QSO with NDT-san and DFO-san while eating lunch.

13時頃には撤収して、軽く展望台まで行って景色を眺めてから下山。
Withdraw at PM1:00, go to the observatory and look at the scenery.

↓展望台からは北アルプスが一望できる。

↑Can overlook the Northern Alps from the observatory.

下山時XYLが先に前鉢伏山に行き、山ラン用の1-QSOをして降りて来た。
When descending, XYL went to Mt.Maehachibuse, and 1-QSO for YAMA-RAN(Mountain operation ranking), then came down.

私は前鉢伏山には寄らず、駐車場に戻り車からQSOの相手をした。(笑)
I don't go Mt.Maehachibuse, go back to the parking lot and QSO with XYL.
