 兵庫県警尼崎北署は25日、不法入国した韓国人を装った日本人男性(25)(兵庫県尼崎市)を入管難民法違反(旅券不携帯)容疑で誤って逮捕し、約2時間後に釈放したと発表した。


 発表によると、同日午前3時頃、同市内の飲食店から「男の客ともめ事になっている」と通報があった。署員が駆け付けたところ、男性が片言の日本語で「フェリーのコンテナに隠れて韓国から不法入国した」と答えるなどしたため、署に任意同行し、身元を確認できないまま逮捕した。

 ところが、経緯をただすと「本当は日本人。うそをついてすみません」と打ち明け、スムーズに会話を始めた。家族に連絡して日本人であると確認され、謝罪したうえで釈放したが、男性がうそをついた理由はよくわからないという。同署の西村章雄副署長は「今後は適正な手続きを徹底したい」としている。
