At the turn of this century, arthroscopic surgery for osteoarthritis of the knee was common. Basically, surgeons would clean out the knee using arthroscopic devices. Another common procedure was lavage, in which a needle would inject saline into the knee to irrigate it. The thought was that these procedures would remove fragments of cartilage and calcium phosphate crystals that were causing inflammation. A number of studies had shown that people who had these procedures improved more than people who did not.


The results were stunning. Those who had the actual procedures did no better than those who had the sham surgery. They all improved the same amount. The results were all in people’s heads.

Study: Playing Violent Video Games Might Actually Make Us LESS Violent
As it turns out, indulging in a few rounds of Grand Theft Auto won't unleash your violent impulses.

The study looked at the release of various violent video games, such as Grand Theft Auto, Call of Duty, and Halo, and compared release dates with thirty years of FBI crime statistics. It found that homicides actually decreased after the release of new editions of these titles.


It appears that the vast majority of individuals exposed to violent video games do not become violent in the ‘real world.’”

The new paper seems to corroborate the results of earlier research, like a 2007 study also performed by Patrick Markey with Gary Giumetti that showed that the few people whose behavior would be adversely impacted by playing violent video games tended to be those who already had aggressive and angry personalities.

日本だったら、外国人差別だああああ、とかいう輩がでてくるな。



　――日本人として受賞したことについてはどう思うか。

　「もちろんうれしい。日本は小さな島国だが、今回３人も受賞したことは、日本人として誇らしく思っている」


米国籍取ったのに、日本人として、誇らしくおもうんじゃなえええよ、とか、いう輩がいるかな？　国籍ナショナリスト？

I am even told that many women collect lingerie yet when it comes to finding a good nursing bra I had to look abroad which makes it painfully clear that breasts are to be beautifully adorned in the finest silks and lace, both of which cannot accommodate a suckling baby.

There is this crazy fear here that breastfeeding will make you a “slave” to your baby.


How on earth can you live your life with this parasite that seeks to drain every last drop of your soul, being and femininity?

Urrr … firstly, breastfeeding is not like that and secondly, how does breastfeeding make you unfeminine?



Off I went to my appointment and its basically kegels (pelvic floor exercise) on speed with a screen to track your progress – you have sets of 10 squeezes and then you have a bit of electro-stimulation to make the muscles work harder. Yikes. Not really something you want to talk about but I am the first to say it’s excellent aftercare.

They say its to ward off incontinence but it’s not the real objective – it’s to get your sexual prowess back as soon as possible. That is the focus. Plus it’s free completely 100% free – making it more important under the healthcare system than chemotherapy or the flu vaccine!

　おフランスに行ったら気をつけるべきこと

　すり、ひったくり、窃盗、詐欺、恐喝、暴動などなど。


　こうした犯罪を、監視するすんばらしいリベラルや罰する制度があるのかもしれないが、そもそも、こうしたことが少ないほうが望ましいよね。

日本語がちょっと変な在日中国人のフォロワーがついたので、その人のツイートをまったりとみてる。日本人の自己批判や日本社会批判は熱心にツイートするけど、その価値基準は取り入れない。あとなぜかアメリカ人の日本批判は全面的に肯定するくせに、アメリカ人の中国批判に日本人が同調すると怒り出す


そういえば、ヘイトブログの有道氏のブログも中国からのアクセスが滅茶多いとか。

まさかと思ういますが、サハロフとかソルジェーニツィンとか反体制ロシア人のほうが世界的に評価された歴史を思うと、けっこう末期的なのかな、日本も。

というかふつうに考えて、どの国だろうと愛国主義者は国際的に評価されないですよね。「おれってすごい！最高！優秀！」と自画自賛するやつが好かれるわけがない


外特会の特派員は、「オレの文化すげ、最高！　優秀」と自画自賛し、日本も見習え、という超愛国者が多いし、それに同調して崇拝する日本人も多い。

もっとも、自画自賛欧米人に、出羽守は一部の日本人に滅茶嫌われているのも事実。
