道徳を守ろうとする思い
Wish for observing moral:

道徳を説く人が聖人君子である必要はない。道徳を守り切ることはできないけれど、道徳を大切に思い、守りたいと思っていることこそが大切だ。
It is not always necessary for a person preaching moral to be a perfect one. It is important for you to cherish moral and seek to obey moral even though you are not able to completely obey moral.

Getting a treatment equivalent to your ability would be good. But getting a treatment beyond your ability would be your shame. (Treatment)

Keeping your endurance in silence until a typhoon has passed away is also important. But at the same time, you should work out the way to tackle the typhoon. (difficulties)
