Ministry of the Interior and Safety (MOIS) in S. Korea grasped that "a map showing Takeshima (Dokdo in S. Korea) as Japanese territory" was used in a footage material used for private defense cyber education, and deleted that.

On May 10, according to the MOIS and so on, the MOIS ordered a footage-material for private defense cyber education in 2024 to three vendors and produced.
In a material produced by one of them, a footage in a program of one U.S. broadcaste was used and explained countermeasures to an earthquake, and in a map showin in the footage, it's noted that "Takeshima is a Japanese territory."

This map is a material released by the Japan Meteorological Agency at the time of the Noto Peninsula earthquake on Jan. 1 this year.
The MOIS realized this fact through some news reports and conveyed that "Despite consideration in advance, as the inappropriate material was used in the educational footage, that we immediately deleted it and replaced it with another educational footage."
The MOIS went on to add that "The MOIS will consider the materials used in private defense educational footages more carefully from now on."
