The amber

I knew why I liked the autumn sunshine on the floor.

The color of amber is dull reddish yellow.

The color of light, amber, is the resin that comes out of trees that hardens underground and becomes a fossil.

Amber, clear fossilized tree sap, sunset orange, a gift from nature that has been warmed over the years. The unshakable peace and conviction I felt from my feet in the amber autumn sun on the floor healed me.

The autumn amber sun on the floor soothes me.

I love and healed always.
