　インフレは、財政破綻の借金帳消しの最終手段であることとは、今も昔も変わらない。一から出直してどうぞというわけだ。その消えた価値は、いずこも戦費という消耗乱費に費やされ、その掠りを支配者とその取り巻きの懐を潤し、インフレ貨幣に変わる手段で温存される。その消えた価値分だけ、インフレを招いて、貨幣価値が下がる。大衆を犠牲にした掠め取りである。そして、それを景気刺激と言っているのは偽善である。

　しかし、妙に明るい人々の表情は救われる。人間は常に生きていくのにたくましい。
