言い訳ですけど、忙しかったのとイライラしていることがあって、やるべき英語をやらなかったのが今週の反省点です。
Zoom meetingではパワーポイントを使ってのプレゼンテーションがあったのですが、自分では今回は台本がなくても説明できると思っていたのですが、前日に練習してみたところ、つっかえるところが多かったので、改めて台本を作りました。なかなか何も見ずに英語で説明するのは難しいです。
また、同じzoom meetingでブレイクルームに分かれてネイティブ2人と私の3人で「家族」について話しましたが、話す速度が速いし、カジュアルな会話なので、聞き取れないところが多かったです。アメリカの方は自分の家族を説明する時、必ず名前を言うのが当たり前なので、そこが日本人の感覚と違うとよく思うのですが、今度同じような機会があったら、私も名前を出して説明したいです。
今は、このZoom meetingとregular meetingが英語を話せるようになりたいというモチベーションになっています。
