中国＆アメリカ、そして台湾の動画が出てきたら、その後で中国を旅した一人のメキシコ人の若い女性Arely Miranda Gonzálezさんのドキュメントです！英語教育に力を入れている中国ですよね、若者たちは快活に英語で答えていますね。中国はソビエトではない。冷戦も知っている。彼らの知性は高いというイメージです。平均的アメリカ人より世界を認識しているかもしれないですね？？
ただこのドキュメントはアラブ・スプリングの頃のものですからちょっと古いです。
中国の近現代史を紹介しながらの編集ですね。分かりやすいし、若者達の声がいいですね。授業で使えたらいいと思う。

Why Do They Fear Us?←メキシコ人のＡｒｅｌｙさんのインタビューがいいですね、今や3億人の若者たちが英語を学んでいる中国です、彼らは流暢に英語で自分の意見を述べていますね。西欧文化、歴史、その光と影を学びながら自らに反芻し、取り入れ、自国を静かに開いていく若者たちがいるのですね。アメリカに留学している中国の若者も多いですね。グローバル市民になっていく彼らが、西欧と中国をつないでいく可能性は大きいと念じておきましょう。

The interviewees bravely share their insights on the potential for political change in a country where freedom is relative. Their views are fascinating, eye-opening and courageous. Radical, conservative, patriotic, idealistic: they are the future of China.
