ぼくはこの記者はちょっと怪しい、という印象もあるのだが、この話が本当だとすれば、やはり問題だね。

「ある局で、朝の情報番組から生放送で出てほしいと依頼されました。当日スタジオに入ると、出演前の打ち合わせで『政権批判はやめてください』と言われたのです」
「『後藤さんは救出できたはずだ』という発言はやめてほしいと言われました。でも、それでは僕はしゃべることがありませんから、『そんなことを言われても困ります。誰がそんなこと言ってるんですか。会社の上層部ですか』と聞きました。すると『プロデューサーです』という返事があり、直接プロデューサーとも話しましたが、『でしたら、お帰りになってください』と言われて、僕はそのまま帰りました」

「夢」は３２回優勝の大鵬の故・納谷幸喜さんが好きだった言葉。その納谷さんを継いだのが献血運搬車の寄贈だ。納谷さんは約４０年間にわたり、献血運搬車「大鵬号」７０台を日本赤十字社に寄贈。白鵬は１４年２月、事業を復活させて７１台目の大鵬号を贈った。
納谷さんの妻芳子さん（６７）は、納谷さんが亡くなった後で寄贈の話を知った白鵬から「自分もやりたい。大鵬親方の偉大な社会貢献活動を引き継ぎ、恩返ししたい」と頼まれたという

A 13-year-old boy killed in Yemen last month by a CIA drone strike had told the Guardian just months earlier that he lived in constant fear of the “death machines” in the sky that had already killed his father and brother.
“I see them every day and we are scared of them,” said Mohammed Tuaiman, speaking from al-Zur village in Marib province, where he died two weeks ago.
“A lot of the kids in this area wake up from sleeping because of nightmares from them and some now have mental problems. They turned our area into hell and continuous horror, day and night, we even dream of them in our sleep.”
Much of Mohammed’s life was spent living in fear of drone strikes. In 2011 an unmanned combat drone killed his father and teenage brother as they were out herding the family’s camels.
The drone that would kill Mohammed struck on 26 January in Hareeb, about an hour from his home. The drone hit the car carrying the teenager, his brother-in-law Abdullah Khalid al-Zindani and a third man.
“I saw all the bodies completely burned, like charcoal,” Mohammed’s older brother Maqded said. “When we arrived we couldn’t do anything. We couldn’t move the bodies so we just buried them there, near the car.”
“In their eyes, we don’t deserve to live like people in the rest of the world and we don’t have feelings or emotions or cry or feel pain like all the other humans around the world.”

大手のメディアというのは、国民が被害にあった場合に大きく取り上げる。それはそれで無理からぬところがあるが、アメリカが、あるいは、同盟国がやっていることで、犠牲になっているひとのことはほとんど取り上げない。（因みに上記記事は反戦サイトから）
これでは、叩いても、叩いてもテロがなくならない理由がよけいにわからなくなるのではないか。

ISIS is ultimately fighting a battle for the hearts and minds of people in the region, and its stunning brutality, televised around the world, is one of the best arguments against joining. But many of its enemies – who are either allied directly to the West or part of a de facto alliance – are utilizing a sort of brutality that is driving many in the region back into the arms of ISIS.
For example, in October Amnesty International released a report showing that government-backed Shi'a militias who control much of Iraq have apparently conducted “execution-style killings” of prisoners; “Shi’a militias are ruthlessly targeting Sunni civilians on a sectarian basis under the guise of fighting terrorism, in an apparent bid to punish Sunnis for the rise of the IS and for its heinous crimes,” said one Amnesty staffer.
But the most violence is coming from the Syrian government, which the West was considering bombing over alleged use of chemical weapons in 2013.
What's lacking in the debate is what Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) – who's not a presidential contender – called a “proactive foreign policy vision” from progressives which rejects a military approach altogether to what is increasingly not a military problem.
It remains to be seen whether any presidential contender – Democratic, Republican, or independent – is willing to offer that alternative as they seek to take over America's involvement in this conflict next year.

東京都渋谷区は１１日までに、同性カップルを「結婚に相当する関係」と認め、証明書を発行する条例案を３月区議会に提出することを決めた。区によると、自治体が同性同士をパートナーとして証明する制度は全国で例がない。性的少数者の権利を保障する動きは世界的に広がっており、家族制度をめぐる論議が高まりそうだ。
可決されれば４月１日施行、証明書は２０１５年度内の開始を目指す。
同性カップルがアパート入居や病院での面会を家族でないとして断られるケースが問題になっていることを踏まえ、区は区民や事業者に、証明書を持つ同性カップルを夫婦と同等に扱うよう協力を求める方針だ。

Tokyo’s Shibuya Ward plans to issue certificates recognizing same-sex couples as being in “relationships equivalent to marriage,” becoming the first local government body in the country to do so.
The plan has been outlined in a draft statute incorporated in a fiscal 2015 budget expected to be unveiled on Thursday. The statute is to be presented to the municipal assembly session scheduled to convene in early March.
Although legally nonbinding, the move would be likely to raise awareness among the general public about the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and could have an knock-on impact in how it affects other local and central government decisions.
Homosexual couples say they often face discrimination when renting apartments together or visiting their partners at hospitals, on the grounds that they are not seen as relatives.

The United Nations says more than 1 million people have been displaced by the conflict. A Russian immigration official last week also put the number of Ukrainian refugees now in Russia at 1 million although Ukrainian officials say the number is vastly exaggerated by Moscow for political reasons.

In a piece titled “Kayla Mueller: Dead ISIS Hostage Was Jew-Hating, Anti-Israel Bitch,” conservative blogger Debbie Schlussel wrote, “No tears for the newly-departed Kayla Mueller, the ISIS hostage whose parents confirmed today that she is dead.”
“Mueller was a Jew-hating, anti-Israel piece of crap who worked with HAMAS and helped Palestinians harass Israeli soldiers and block them from doing their job of keeping Islamic terrorists out of Israel,” Schlussel wrote.
“I have no sympathy for any of these ‘American’ (in name only!) hostages of ISIS,” she went on. “And my attitude when I hear they’ve been snuffed out is, so sad, too bad.”
One conservative website urged readers to pause before they mourn Mueller’s death and ask whether her support of Palestine was ultimately what killed her.
“People should be asking is why this young American girl was in Syria in the first place,” said Conservative-Headlines.com. “The fact is that Kayla Mueller was a Cultural Marxist who talked about her ‘privilege.’”
On Twitter, some conservatives mocked Mueller for being “liberal.”
The website Shoebat.com’s Lee Kaplan said, “(T)he press tries to paint Kayla as a selfless volunteer helping poor Arab refugees. She may have even helped some injured Arabs in refugee camps. But don’t be fooled where her sympathies laid; she was working to support the goals of Palestinian irredentist/terrorists and to interfere with the IDF on behalf of terrorist groups. As an ISM activist she was a tool for the worldwide jihad.”
And Jim Hoft, also known as the Gateway Pundit, called Mueller “pro-terrorist” for opposing Israel’s ongoing occupation of Gaza.
