Five central banks in Japan,the U.S. and European countries announced their agreement Monday on the cooperation in providing funds for each other,if necessary,in case of turmoil of financial market's recurrence.Specifically,central banks in Japan and European countries have made a new currency swap contract with U.S. Federal Reserve Board in terms of fund-lending. Thus this will lead to FRB being able to provide necessary foreign currencies like yen and euro other than dollar for financial institutions in the U.S.This shows the trend that contries are making a concerted effort to recover the stability in financial markets centering on that in the U.S., whose turmoil triggered the current worldwide recession,amid the situation that the global recession has been more and more conspicuous.
