固定電話 全国一律性09年廃止 総務省方針 ＩＰ網へ移行促す 維持費の利用者負担撤廃
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications has decided to abolish by the year of 2009 the NTT's universal service for the fixed telephone,in which even people in rural areas are able to enjoy the service equal to that in urban areas.In order to cover the cost for maintaining the universal service,currently,communication service providers collect 7 yen a month from all their users.But,the ministry' decision makes the collection stopped from 2009.After that,the ministry intends to prompt the IP(Internet protocol) comminications so that it will become a key communication mode.
