On May 15, the TEPCO released to begin the 6th maritime discharge of treated waste water from its Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power on May 17.
According to the TEPCO, an analysis of the radioactive substances contained in the scheduled for discharge treated waste water confirmed that it met the standards set by the government and the TEPCO.
Approx. 7,800 tons will be discharged by June 4.
