The editorial team of Circulation Journal has recently confirmed that the manuscript written by Shinzo Kimura et al, Circ J 2012 September 12 [Epub ahead of print] and that by Jun Shiraishi et al, published in the April 2011 issue of the Circulation Journal (Circ J 2011; 75: 806 – 814) contain a number of serious errors in data analysis.

撤回理由は
「the manuscript ・・・ contain a number of serious errors in data analysis.」（原稿には・・・データ解析における多数の重大な誤りが含まれている。）
ということ。やはり婉曲的な表現をした。端的に捏造や改ざんがあったのかは触れていない。誤りが故意か過失かはわからないが、まあそれは皆さんの予想通りじゃないでしょうか。誰が誤りを行い、誰に主に責任があるのかも触れられていない。
データ流用事件については1年以上調査されているが、未だに調査結果が公表されない。詳しいことは調査結果待ちだが、この事件はどうなっているのでしょうか。
それにしても撤回公告の婉曲的な表現はなんとかならないでしょうか。原因などをもっと端的にを示してほしいです。不正の隠蔽まがいのことをやってるところも少なくないと思います。そのことについては後日執筆します。

松原グループの論文はまた撤回されました。撤回公告はこちらです。撤回理由は「発表した論文のいくつかのデータに重大な問題が存在した」からだそうです。詳しくはRetraction Watch:"Study of blood pressure drug valsartan retracted"（2013.2.4）を見てください。
それにしても、データ使いまわし事件は2011年12月に調査委員会が発足したことが確認されています。約1年2ヶ月たっているわけですが、なぜ調査結果が公表されないのでしょうか？どうも嫌な予感がします。
