【Most ほとんどの】
most ＋名詞 （一般的に）ほとんどの～
ほとんどの子どもたちはアイスクリームが好きです-----> Most children like ice cream.
最近はほとんどの人がスマートフォンを持っています----> These days, most people have a smartphone.
ほとんどの食べ物は健康的です------> Most food is healthy.
ロック以外、私はほとんどの音楽が好きです----> Except for rock, I like most music.
most of＋名詞 ～のほとんど、～の大部分
私が旅の間会った人たちのほとんどはとても優しかった----> Most of the people I met during my trip were so nice.
私の近所の子どもたちのほとんどは５歳以下です----> Most of the children in my neighborhood are under five years old.
これらほとんどの写真はヨーロッパで撮られました-----> Most of these pictures were taken in Europe.
あれらほとんどの植物は昨年の春に植えられた----> Most of those plants were planted last spring.

*一般的な人を言いたいときは Most
*限定、特定された人達を言いたいときはMost of （そのあとその人たちを説明するーこのクラスの人、この近所の人など）
Almost people とは言わない！
almost all people と言うことはできますが、混乱するので「ほとんどの人」と言いたいときはmost people を使う
almostはもう少しで～するところだった という意味で使う
例）I almost died. ---->もう少しで死ぬところだった

先週、私と友達が会ったとき、ほとんど彼女の赤ちゃんについて話した------> Last week, when my friend and I met, we mostly talked about her baby.
その公園には主に子どもがいます。（大人もいるけど８０％は子どもという意味）---> At the park, there are mostly children.
彼女はカラオケで主に英語の歌を歌いました(日本の歌も歌ったけれど、８０パーセント以上は英語の歌を歌った）----> She mostly sang English songs at the karaoke.
私は大抵はジーンズを履きます-----> I mostly wear jeans.
#2. 3週間ぶりです（私たちが会ってから）----> It's been 3 weeks (since we met.)
