新年あけましておめでとうございます。
我が家のおせち料理です。 職人さんが作るもののように豪華絢爛ではないけれどひとつひとつに深い味わいがあります。それに栄養のバランスがとれており塩分も少なく体によい。 煮物は「のっぺ」 新潟料理の定番です。

Everything is white here, but not cold as I expected. It is almost the same as in my town. I wish I could show you these special mountains around here that are only 1,500m but too close to the place where people are living in, so that we can not see the sun all day long. It is still very dark like midnight at 8am. I also miss the sun!

I am glad to hear that it's not so cold. But please be careful not to catch a cold.
I know Norway is in Polar night season now. Even if you are not in the arctic circle area, you can experience the long night or twilight day. I think it must be great, so please enjoy it. I also hope that you could see the northern lights there.
