2芯シールドケーブルの自作についてお話してきました。
このケーブルはシールドを接続している一端と
接続していない側があります。
つまり極性があります。
一般論ですが、
シールド側は、接続機器の多い方にすると良いようです。
例えば、プリアンプとパワーアンプであればプリアンプ側になります。
また、デジタル機器とアナログ機器を接続する場合は
アナログ機器側が良いようです。
CDとプリメインアンプではプリメインアンプ側になります。
余談ですが、
極性を指定しているケーブルはたくさん発売されています。
その多くは接続方法によって極性が発生するのではなく
銅線を生産する際の伸線工程で極性が発生する・・・とのことです。
以前、私はオーディオケーブルの製造工場
（オーディオメーカー向けのケーブルを生産している工場）へ行ったことがあります。
そこの工場長がおっしゃるには
伸線工程で極性が発生しても
その後、撚り工程で極性はなくなってしまうとのこと。
また、機械の関係で国内のどのケーブル工場でも同じだろうとのことでした。
その工場は複数のオーディオメーカーのケーブルを生産していましたので
そのお話にびっくりした覚えがあります。
もちろん、極性管理を行っているケーブルもあるとはおもいますが・・・

It is a continuation of "Cable and noise vol.8"
Last page, I wrote about manufacture of double core shielded cable.
There are "side which has connected the shield",
and "side which has not been connected" in this cable.
That is, it is polar.
Although it is a generality,
It seems that the shield side is good to use a direction with much connection apparatus.
For example, if it is a preamplifier and power amplifier, it will be on a preamplifier side.
It seems that the analog equipment side is good
when connecting digital equipment and analog equipment.
With CD and integrated amplifier, it is on an integrated amplifier side.
Although it is a digression,
Many cables which specify polarity are put on the market.
Polarity does not occur with a connection method by many of the cables.
It is said that polarity occurs in the production process of copper wire.
Before, I went to the manufacturing facility
(factory which produces the audio maker-oriented cable) of the audio cable.
The factory manager there said.
Even if polarity occurs, polarity is lost at a subsequent process.
"It will be the same at every domestic cable factory. " He said.
Since the factory produced two or more audio makers' cable, I was surprised.
Of course, there may also be a cable which is performing polar management.
