『パワフルな音再生法　vol.21』の続きです。

音源の波形を立ち上がり部分が鋭くなるようフィルタリングすることは

それほど難しいことではありません。

まず、下記の回路に10KHzの矩形波を通すと・・・



当然、出力も矩形波です。



次にコンデンサーを追加します。



すると、出力波形は・・・



エッジ部分が変化しました。

意外に簡単です。

この回路を応用すれば、

ホーンスピーカーの音が再現できるかもしれません。

一般的なスピーカーをホーンスピーカーに近づけるためには

どうすればよいのでしょうか？



一般的なスピーカーは立ち上がりが悪いわけですから

音源の波形を立ち上がり部分が鋭くなるようフィルタリングし、

これを一般的なスピーカーで再生すれば

ホーンスピーカーの音になるのではないでしょうか？

早速実験してみましょう。

（３）ホーンスピーカーはパワフル

これは『ある』と思います。

一方向に音が集中して放射されるからだと言う方が見えますが

それなら音量を上げても同じはずです。

そうではなく、ホーンスピーカーは他のスピーカーより

振動板の面積が小さいため空気抵抗が少なく、

振動開始時の立ち上がりも早いからではないでしょうか？



この僅かな違いによってホーンスピーカー独特の

パワフルな音になるのではないでしょうか？

これならば電気的にシュミレーションすることができそうです。

『パワフルな音再生法　vol.18』の続きです。

（１）小口径より大口径のスピーカーがパワフル

乱暴な言い方ですが、大口径ユニットは

大音量を出すために開発されたと言って良いでしょう。

大音量が目的ですからパワフル・・・？？

私が求めるのは小さな部屋で

そこそこの音量で鳴らしたときのパワフルな音です。

（２）ヨーロッパのスピーカーよりアメリカのスピーカーがパワフル

一般論ですが、ヨーロッパのスピーカーよりも

アメリカのスピーカーのほうが設置を想定されている部屋が広いように思います。

更にアメリカのほうが大音量で再生するような・・・

これも（１）と同様に

大音量だからパワフルに聴こえるのかもしれません。

（３）ホーンスピーカーはパワフル

これはどうでしょう？

次に、スピーカーのパワフルな音について考えてみます。

一般的には

（１）小口径より大口径のスピーカーがパワフル

（２）ヨーロッパのスピーカーよりアメリカのスピーカーがパワフル

（３）ホーンスピーカーはパワフル

というようなことが言われています。

事実でないこともあるような気がしますが

ひとつづつ電気的に検証してみましょう。
