波形を観測すると
100均の50cmケーブルを使用した方が
1m3000円のケーブル6mを使用した場合よりも
正確な波形を伝送することが判りました。
これは3000円のケーブルの性能が悪いのではなく
どんなケーブルでも長いものを使えば悪影響があるということです。
これは周囲の影響を受けやすいパッシブアッテネーターの特徴です。
パッシブアッテネーターを使用するなら、
パワーアンプとの間のケーブルは1m以下にするのが理想的です。
また、パッシブアッテネーターは周囲のノイズの影響も受けやすくなっています。
ピンケーブルは電源ケーブルやDCアダプターと絡まらないよう
結線する必要があります。
これらの点を注意すればパッシブアッテネーターの性能を100%出し切ることができます。
「アッテネーターの音」と「プリの音」を論ずるときは
これらの注意点を考慮ししなければなりません。
これらを無視してパッシブアッテネーターは音が悪いという方が多いのは残念です。
