『ピンケーブルとノイズ vol.5』の続きです。
『バランスケーブル』と呼ばれるケーブルがあります。
プロの世界でも使用されているため
いかにも音がよさそう・・・な気がします。
ムジカではバランス端子を廃止してしまいました。
バランスケーブルがプロの現場で使用されるのは主に3つの理由です。
１、信頼性が高い。
ロック機構があるので引っ張っても抜けない。堅牢なので踏んでも壊れない。
放送局やコンサート会場で一番怖いのは、事故で音が止まることなのです。
２、ノイズに強い。
ノイズに弱いマイクからの信号を何十メートルも延長しなくてはいけない。
接続ケーブルを何十本も使用するのでノイズの事なんて考えていられない。
３、昔からプロ用の機器に標準的に使用されている。
機材を外に持ち出して使うことも多いので、ケーブルの規格を統一したい。
何十本も所有しているバランスケーブルを今更他の規格に変更できない。
いずれもプロの現場での独特な理由であって
ホームオーディオを楽しむために必要な要素ではありません。
乱暴な言い方かもしれませんが、
プロの世界では音が良いからバランスケーブルを使用しているわけではないのです。
割高のバランスケーブルを使用するなら
その分コストのかかったピンケーブルを使用した方が音は良いと思います。

The professional is using it.
There are some persons who say, "Sound is good."
The balance terminal was abolished in MUSICA.
There are mainly three reasons a professional uses a balance cable.
1,It is reliable.
Since there is a lock mechanism, it does not escape.
Since it is strong, it does not break.
It is most fearful that sound stops at an accident at a broadcasting station or the concert hall.
2,There are few noises.
The signal from a weak microphone is extended for a long time in a noise.
A noise cannot be taken into consideration in order to use many cables.
3,It is standardly used for professional apparatus.
I would like to unify the standard of a cable.
Many balance cables cannot be changed into other standards.
It is a professional peculiar reason.
It is not an element required in order to enjoy a home audio.
The professional is not using the balance cable for the reason "sound is good."
It is better to use a RCA cable better than a comparatively high-priced balance cable.
