両親の在留不許可伝える＝比人中学生、仮放免を再延長－法務省
不法滞在で強制退去を命じられ、在留資格を求めていたフィリピン人で埼玉県蕨市の中学生カルデロン・ノリコさん（１３）の両親について、東京入国管理局は１３日、在留特別許可を認めない方針を伝えた。２７日まで仮放免を再延長し、同日までに家族３人で帰国するかノリコさんだけを置いて行くかを決め、帰国日を伝えるよう求めた。
記者会見したノリコさんは「私にとって日本は母国。家族３人で残りたい」と話した。父アランさん（３６）は「１３歳の娘だけ置いて帰ることはあり得ない」として、今後も３人での在留を求める考えを示した。（2009/02/13-12:20

おれは、お涙頂戴ものに弱い。
誠意をもって頭をさげられるとよけい弱い。
また、子供がいるような場合、十分な日本語能力、長期における真面目な就労実績などの要件を満たせば、罰金あるいは、社会奉仕などの罰則ならともかくーーー今回法が整備されていなかったがーーー特に退去させる必要はない、と考えている。
非常に残念としかいいようがない。
ただ、この件に関する、DAVID McNEILL氏の記事も、、２ちゃんを引用したり、不法移民を捕まえなかったのが悪いというような盗人猛々しい論調、あるいは、例の如く、日本異質論、特殊論に依拠した論調は、気に入らない。

It is just amazing how inaccurate Japan Times is. This article just misses the whole point why this case could be a landmark case.

Overstaying visa and using a fake passport are two different things.
Actually, GoJ routinely issues Teijusha visas to children of overstayers.

Approved cases 2, 3 and 16 in Heisei 18 are such cases for overstayers.
The question is “Should Teijusha visas be issued to children of foreigners who came to Japan with false passports?” Otherwise, this would not have been news.

Investigators now have no doubt the fire that ripped through Hassan Kelley’s vacation condo was deliberately set, Wildwood Police Chief Steven Long told NBC 10 News Thursday.
The blaze was discovered a day earlier, two weeks after NBC 10’s initial report on how the Newark, Del. man’s summer home at the Key Colony Condos was broken into and spray painted with racist graffiti. Kelley is the only African-American owner at the complex, he said.

少なくとも二つばかり問題がある。
１）特訓は適切だったか？
２）人種差別的だったか？
