よい上司
A good boss:
世間では、「よきにはからえ」とばかりに、部下に仕事を一任するのがよい上司だという考え方もあるようだが、ただ任せればいいというものではない。部下を放任しているような上司に限って、真剣に考えたり判断したりすることから逃げていることが多い。
There may be some thoughts in corporate culture that a good boss could entrust a job entirely to their subordinates as they like, but it is no good to just leave things to others. There are many cases where persons in a managerial post don't take care of their subordinates and escape from thinking of things seriously or making a necessary judgement.
