Earlier in the morning, later in the evening

Hi there! Jun Tomioka again!

Hot days are continuing.
My dog looks to feel hot, too.

I walk my dog every morning and evening.
Now, I try to do it very early in the morning, about 5 a.m.
because it becomes hotter after this time.

In the evening, I try to do it later than usual.
Heat becomes mild after 5:30p.m.

I like summer but my dog might not like it.

Traffic accident near my house

Hi there! Jun Tomioka again!

The other day, when I took a walk, I saw a traffic accident.
It happened at an intersection without a traffic light.
A car bumped against a small motorbike coming from another direction.

There was a ‘Stop’ sign on the road that the bike run.
I believe the bike didn’t stop and had an accident.

When it comes to the rule, the bike should have stopped.
The car didn’t break the rule. But the accident happened.
I think the car should have run more slowly and carefully.

Road accidents are very scary.
I will be careful when I go into an intersection with poor
visibility.

Short rainy season

Hi there! Jun Tomioka again!

The Meteorological Agency announced that the rainy season
in Kanto Area was over yesterday.
Usually, the end of the rainy season is in the middle of July.
We finished it very fast this year.

Summer leisure businesses such as pools, beach houses, and so on
were damaged for the past few years due to the pandemic.

I hope they will recover thanks to hot summer this year.

Sunny places and shady places

Hi there! Jun Tomioka again!

Summer in Japan has already started and the weather is
terribly hot.
The highest temperature in Tokyo was 36 degrees yesterday.

When I walk downtown, I usually try to find shady places
where I can rest and feel more comfortable.

Summer in Japan usually lasts for more than three months.
Even though it's hot, I still prefer summer than winter
because I like bright days.

Farewell Party

Hi there! Jun Tomioka again!

I am in charge of the instructor of a school for professional business
consultants.
Yesterday, I have attended a farewell party for the latest students.

For the past few years, parties like these were not held due to
the pandemic that started in 2019. It’s been a while for me to join
these kinds of party!

We enjoyed having our dinner, drinking, and talking.
I thought that direct communication is more enjoyable than virtual ones.
