Mixed Doubles

2022-05-31 09:33:44 | 日記
Hi there! Jun Tomioka here.

Now, the French Open Tennis Tournament is being held in Paris.
Some Japanese players joined but almost everyone has lost.
The only player who still remains is Miss Enna Shibahara.

She plays mixed doubles games with Mr.Wesley Koolhof from Netherland.
Yesterday, I watched their game on TV.
They played very well and proceeded to the semi-final game.

I hope they will become the champion pair.

Lack of electricity

2022-05-30 09:55:48 | 日記
Hi there! Jun Tomioka here.

The ministry of economy, Trade and Industry announced about
the forecast of supply and demand of electricity this year.

There is a rate of electricity reserve which means how much
the supply is bigger than demand.
This rate is usually over 5%.

But if we have many hot days this summer, the rate will be under
3%. It means there is a possibility of blackout.

Since the accident due to tsunami in 2011, many nuclear power
plants have not worked in Japan.
We rely on other plants but there are not enough.

We have to make our efforts to save electricity as much as possible
but we might have to consider restart of nuclear power plants.

Jazz Base

2022-05-29 07:39:17 | 日記
Hi there! Jun Tomioka here.

My son entered a high school this April.
And he joined a jazz music club at school.
Although he is a beginner, he seems to practice base guitar.

Before going to high school, his hobby was only playing
online game.
I used to be worried that he would become game addiction.

He still plays online games after school but this time,
he has another hobby, music.

I hope he will continue to enjoy music.

Cryptocurrency

2022-05-28 11:40:47 | 日記
Hi there! Jun Tomioka here.

My client is going to start new business related to cryptocurrency.
Since I will help him make his business plan, I need to know about
cryptocurrency.

Cryptocurrency is the money that we use to transact through the internet.
This money is controlled under the system called ‘Block Chain’.
This system protects the manipulation of the data.

But so far, many people don’t rely on cryptocurrency.
They say that only 5% of people use this money in Japan.
I also had doubts about it but this time I decided to use this money.

Yesterday, I made my account in one cryptocurrency exchange and
bought cryptocurrency named ‘Ripple’.

I am looking forward to seeing the change of the price.

PDCA

2022-05-27 10:28:57 | 日記
Hi there! Jun Tomioka here.

Yesterday, I conducted a business training for young employees.
The topic was how to proceed with their tasks.

In the program, they learnt ‘PDCA’ cycle.
PDCA means PLAN, DO, CHECK, ACTION.
When you are conscious about this process, you can do your tasks
and improve your skills.

This word, PDCA is English but when I asked some foreign people
weather they know this word, they didn’t.
Maybe, someone in Japan made this word.

Now, PDCA is a well-known business word in Japan.
