Hi there again; Jun Tomioka is here!

He used to be part of Japan soccer team but now,
he belongs to the Brighton which is one of the teams
in Premier League in the UK.

His recent activities are amazing.
He has set a lot of goals and contributes a lot to his team.

Anyway, I was impressed with his English conversation skill.
I watched his interview in English via web news.
He answered some things clearly in English.

I hope he performs even better internationally.

Award Ceremony

Hi there again; Jun Tomioka is here!

The Australian Tennis Tournament had its final day.
Yesterday, the final women’s doubles match was played.
by a Japanese pair and a Czech pair.

It was a nice match, and the Czech pair became champions.
Congratulations!

After the match, an award ceremony was held.
Four players made speeches in turn.
They praised their opponent’s play and thanked fans,
their team staff and people related to the tournament.

It was a very good ceremony.
I will continue to cheer for them.

Sabalenka

Hi there again; Jun Tomioka is here!

The Australian Open tennis tournament is ongoing.
Yesterday, the final match of women’s singles was played by
Elena Rybakina is from Kazakhstan, and Aryna Sabalenka is
from Belarus.

Sabalenka is ranked fifth in the world.
She was always a candidate for the winner in big tournaments,
but She had not been able to win before.

Rybakina got the first set.
Sabalenka reclaimed the second set, and the match was decided
in the final set.

It was a close match, but finally, Sabalenka became the champion.
Congratulations!

I want to commend both of them for their good play.

Japanese women’s pair

Hi there again, Jun Tomioka here!

Now, the Australian Tennis Tournament is ongoing.
Japanese women’s pair, Syuko Aoyama and Ena Shibahara,
played the semi-final match.

The opponent pair was Jessica Pegula and CoCo Gauff from
U.S.A. Their ranking was higher than the Japanese pair.

I watched TV and cheered for the Japanese pair.
It was a close game.
Although the Japanese pair got the first set, the score of
the second set was 6-6 and they played a tie-breaker game.

It was also a close play. And finally, the Japanese pair won
the match. Congratulations!

The opponent of the final match is the strongest pair,
Barbora Kreicikova and Katerina Siniakova from Ceska.
I hope the Japanese pair will play hard and get the victory.

Transactional Analysis

Hi there again, Jun Tomioka here!

Yesterday, I assisted a business training.
The topic was ‘The points to avoid harassment’.
Nowadays, harassment is an important issue in business field.

In the training, we learned ‘Transactional Analysis’.
When you answer some questions, you can distinguish your personal
type.

There are five types of Transactional analysis as listed below.
Critical Parent: be strict about rules
Nurturing Parent: be mild, gentle,
Adult: be practical
Free Child: be optimistic
Adapted Child: be obedient

We need to know our personal type and other people's type and
have good communication with each other.
It’s one of the important points to avoid harassment.
