Hi there!
This is Jun Tomioka. I am a Business Consultant.

I organize a tennis event with my high school friends
every year. It was going to be held yesterday.

But I had a cold and it was hard for me to play tennis.
When I talked with my friends, they said we should
just cancel the game, not only because of my cold
but also because of the COVID-19 cases.

Recently, patients are increasing rapidly in Tokyo.
We should not go out as much as possible.
So, we decided to postpone this event.

Anyway, I took a rest all day at home yesterday.
I want to recover as soon as possible.

Yesterday, I conducted a seminar for new business consultants.
The subject was “Presentation”.

The thing that I emphasized most was “"Please, have a heart
to give a present.

The origin of presentation is present. When making a presentation,
you should share an inspiring story. Please, deliver a nice and
good story to the people.

And another important thing is a practice.
If you spend time for practice, you will be confident and
you can speak well in front of people.

We are having a new corona virus problem this year.
I haven’t taken this seriously because people who
are close to me aren’t infected at all until my relatives
got infected by this virus. They travelled by using “Go
to campaign” benefit.

Suddenly, I felt fear about this virus.

My wife said, “Don’t go out to drink!”.
Usually, we have many opportunities of drink parties this season
but I decided not to go out to drink for the meantime.

We are having a new corona virus problem this year.
Many pharmaceutical companies are trying to develop
a new vaccine for the virus.

They say that the Japanese government made an agreement
with one company about being provided the new vaccine.

But I am a little bit worried about this matter because
there is a risk of its side effect. It’s not a cure-all.

Usually it takes a few years to develop a new vaccine.
I am afraid that pharmaceutical companies are too hurry
to develop a new vaccine.

We should monitor the situation and decide whether we
use the vaccine or not.

Due to the corona virus problem, many people tend to
work at home.

They say that it’s important for them to manage tasks and time
by themselves because nobody monitors their behavior at home.

I left the company I used to work for 12 years ago and became independent
as a business consultant. So, I have been working at home aside from
meetings for 12 years.

Certainly, I sometimes feel it’s difficult to concentrate
to work.

But I have to overcome temptations because I am a freelancer.
Nobody compensates my income.
