I found an interesting article on a newspaper named
Nikkei MJ (Marketing Journal).

‘Table Check Fast Pass’ is a new service for customers
who want to book restaurants. They book through the internet.

Usually, services like that are free, but people need to
pay money when they use Table Check Fast Pass.

When popular restaurants began this service, the quota became
full at once. Many tourists, not only Japanese but foreign
people, applied. This service provides via 18 languages.

They don’t like to make a long line.
Time is money.

Eyesight

My eyesight has been getting worse lately.

I can’t see sentences on the screen of PC clearly.
Sometimes, I can’t see some signs on roads when I
ride on my car or motorbike.

My glasses might not fit with my eyes.
I will visit an optical shop and take an examination.

Windy day

It’s windy this morning.
According to TV news, the wind is strong, similar to a typhoon.

I remember another windy day from the past.
The strong wind made my motorbike fall down.

Now, I put the stand on the both side of my bike to avoid
the fall.

Anyway, we need to be careful when we go out.

Women’s Table Tennis

The World Championship of Women’s Table Tennis was
held in Korea.

Japan team played with China team in the final match.
China team has been No.1 in the world for a long time.

Japan team played very well but it was not able to
beat China team.

The Olympic Games will be held this year.
I hope Japan team will play much better and win.

Yesterday, I joined an online meeting for new employee
training. We discussed the contents and how to instruct them.

One of them was how to receive telephone calls.
They say that new employees feel fear when they receive
telephone calls at the company.

They usually communicate through their mobile phones.
They don’t get used to speak through landline telephones.
Furthermore, they don’t know the company’s clients and
business manners well.

We need to understand the situation and instruct them
well.
