When will cherry blossoms come out?

When I visited Atami City, I saw cherry blossoms in bloom.
Atami Cherry Blossoms are popular for coming out early.

When will cherry blossoms in Tokyo come out?
Japan Weather Association announced the expectation days all
over Japan on the 24th this month.

They said the day in Tokyo will be on the 22nd of March.
The best timing for viewing will probably be at the end of March.
I am looking forward to seeing them.

SHARE ECONOMY

Yesterday, I read a newspaper named NIKKEI MJ and found
an article about ‘Share Economy’.

There is a shared kitchen facility named ‘Kitchen BASE’
in Kagurazaka, Tokyo.
It has 21 small kitchens for individual chefs.
They use these kitchens and run delivery food businesses.
It’s a small business but easier for them to start.

Another company, SALOWIN, has some share beauty salon facilities.
Individual hairdressers get appointments with their clients
and use the space to cut hair.

They say that the market of share economy is increasing very much.
Business style is changing.

Small Valley in Tokyo

Hi there! Jun Tomioka here.

Yesterday, I visited ‘Todoroki Keikoku’ which is the only valley
in the central district in Tokyo.

A little stream runs among the valley and we can walk along it.
When we walk there, we forget we are in Tokyo.
It’s an urban oasis.

Since it was a holiday and the weather was fine yesterday,
Many people visited there.

It’s located near my house, 20 minutes-drive by motorbike.
I will visit there again soon.

I don’t like barium.

Hi there! Jun Tomioka here.

Yesterday, I went to a hospital to have a stomach examination.
Although I don’t feel bad, it was a kind of health check to
discover something bad.

I swallowed barium before the examination.
Barium is a kind of contrast medium.
The photo of the stomach including barium shows the situation clearly
and it becomes easier to discover something bad.

I don’t like barium.
Not only during the examination but after that, I felt sick
to my stomach.

But it is necessary for me to keep my health on check.
