Sento is a traditional public bath in the town.
Many years ago, people used to go to sento every day because
they didn’t have their own baths.
But nowadays there is a bath in almost every house.
Sentos are decreasing every year.
But super sentos are increasing.
It’s a big facility which has not only many kinds of baths
but also sauna, restaurant, relax space, and so on.
Last Sunday, I went to a super sento named ‘Raku Spa’in
Yokohama City with my son.
I was surprised that it was crowded and is mostly populated
by young people. Most of them seems to enjoy the experience.
Now, students in college have spring holidays.
They usually travel abroad this season but due to the pandemic,
they can’t do it.
I think it is the reason why there are many young people.
Anyway, I also spent relax time all day.
