I read a newspaper article and discovered about Nojima Company.
It is one of the company involved in the retail of big home
appliances.
The company abolished their mandatory retirement system.
The staff can continue to work as long as they want, regardless of
their age
Mr.Nojima, the president of the company, said:
“Our style is not a top-down management. We care for the benefit of
the staff as well so we try our best to listen to the opinion of
the staff. There is an old saying that the nail that sticks out gets
hammered down. But, in my company, the nail that sticks out are being
developed. In return, I am expecting their positive attitude towards
work”.
In this company, there was a case when a part-time worker even got
Promoted as part of the board
