On May 30, the Korea Sports Association for the Disabled released that it would send a protest-letter to the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), saying that Japan was introduced with the Rising Sun Flag on the IPC's YouTube channel.
It will allegedly require it to take a recurrence prevention measure too.

The IPC displayed Japanese players with the Rising Sun Flag in its footage showing the Japan-S. Korea ice hockey match at the World Paralympic Games in Canada this month.
In S. Korea, which has a history of being annexed (* not colonized) by Japan, there is a strong sense of rejection against the Rising Sun Flag as a "symbol of imperialism."
At the time of the 2021 Tokyo Paralympics, the S. Korean side pointed out that the medal design resembled the Rising Sun Flag. However, the IPC showed its view that there was no need to revise it, saying that it "reflects Japan's traditional culture."

A coverage with an embassy official on May 30 revealed that a large balloon with filth hanging from it, N. Korea flew it into S. Korea after the night on May 28, landed on the roof of the building that houses the Japanese Embassy in Seoul too.

At a press briefing o May 30 moring, the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) of S. Korean forces releaved that about 260 balloons were hitherto found in various locations, including southern S. Korea, which containing "various contaminants" including cigarette butts, compost, batteries and other rubbish.
According to official(s) of the forces, the filth includes such as fertilizer mixed with animal droppings, but no human feces or chemical materials were found.

In her statement issued on May 29, Kim Yo-jong, younger sister of the General Secretary of the WPK in N. Korea, described the leaflets criticizing the regime, being distributed by a civic organization in S. Korea into N. Korea, as "The filth of political fanning that tarnishes our thought and system."
As countermeasures, she predited to send "dozens of times" filth than leaflets and so on distributed from the S. Korean side from now on too.
