This is a photo of camellias in my neighborhood taken on February 21, 2023. Kanhizakura is blooming, but the camellias have not bloomed yet this year.
Even though it's been a mild winter, it's still February, and the news was talking about today being the first day of spring in Tokyo.
It's true that the highest temperature this week is close to 20 degrees Celsius, and the heating in the bedroom is starting to work differently...It's still mid-February.
The best indicator is the appearance of living things around you.
It seems like spring is still a long way off here.
