Rachel Moran, author of “Paid For: My Journey Through Prostitution”数年間娼婦をしていた女性の著書の紹介と本人へのインタヴューです。彼女はsex-workの合法化に反対しています。アムネスティー・インターナショナルはSEXWorkを支持しているのですね。労働と見なす視点と性の商品＝非人間的だと見なす考えが拮抗しているようです。
殺人事件は普通の40倍、自殺者が多く、寿命も短い。やむなく其の道に入るのだと、レイチェルは語る。生きるためのレイプを受け入れるのだという考えと、それを労働として人権を守ろうとするスタンスの流れの中にある家父長制の中の性売買。
ニュージーランドは合法化して娼婦の数が増えているという報告だ。ホームレスで家を飛び出した少女がやむなくその性行為を売っていった体験が語られる。女性達の間でも分断された認識の現在。古い職業としての売春を認めないRahelに対してアムネスティーは否定的。なぜ？
