「クラウド」普及へ投資拡大　データ拠点　富士通や日立が新設　ネット使いソフト提供

There are moves that major IT-related comapnies are going to build the foundation of so-called "cloud computing" technology,in which various kinds of software will be able to be provided through the Internet.
For example, Hitachi Ltd. and Fujitsu Ltd. will establish a data center for it with about 10 billion yen each invested. And NEC Corporation will bouble its annual investment.
At present, the cloud computing has been spreading in the U.S. because of its cost effectiveness. And from now on, among Japanese firms,it seems to be spreading.

上場企業、黒字に転換　4～6月期　経常利益　製造業、合理化進む　本社集計　前年同期比は７８％減

It has been learned that business profitability has gradually improved among listed companies.

According to the data compiled by The Nihon Keizai Shimbun on the business results of the listed comapnies in the period from April through June this year,the total consolidated current account of the listed whole industry companies turned to the black from the red in the January to March perid this year. Amidst the ongoing sales decline, streamling and restructuring efforts of corporations seems to have got their fruit centering on the automobile and electric machinery industries.

The consolidated recuring profit of the whole industries was in the llow level as 78 % of that in the same period in the previous year, but the companies' profitability seems to have got out of the worst stage, with the Janauary to March period this year the bottom.

高リスク商品に開示義務　保有分を３分類　来期にも適用　残高や価格情報　金融機関の財務に透明性　会計基準委

According to souirces, Financial Accounting Standards Foundation, which is now engaged in establishing and revising accounting standards for the listed companies, intends to strengthen the disclosure obligation of the financial institutions about their pocessing high-risk financial products.

By the draft,the products will be classified into three categories according to the feasibility of grasping their market prices, and the information on the prices and the amounts of their balances should be reported in the statement of accounts.

It is aimed at enhancing transparency of financial organaizations and is thought to be applied in the business term ending March in 2011.
