It turned out that it's under coodination to hold a Japan-U.K.-Italy defense ministerial meeting in Japan in March.
It's forecasted to talk about the trilateral joint development of next-generation fighter jet and security cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region, where the U.K. and Italy have been involved more and more.
It's also considered to visit the DSEI, a trade fair for defense equipment which will be held in Chiba City in mid-March.

It's the U.K. Defence Secretary Ben Wallace and Italian Defense Ministe Guido Crosetto, who are under coordination to visit Japan.
It's forecasted that, in a meeting with Defense Minister Seiichi Hamada, they will talk about how the fighter jet should be developed, and share the recognition that "security between Europe and the Indo-Pacific is inseparable" with China's military expansion in mind.
