いい季節です

　レッスンの前に放牧を楽しむシャル君。周りは春を告げる花がいっぱいです。キャベツの収穫で農家の方は大忙しそうです。工事の音が派手に聞こえてきますが、馬達もなれたみたいです。

安らかに眠る

　美しい国だけど長い民族どおしの紛争に耐えてきた国ユーゴスラビア、1991年にスロベニア　セルビア　とクロアチアと三つに別れ今は平和です。
戦で命を落とした戦士たちの慰霊塔が穏やかな海を見下ろしています。

EUの一番新しい加盟国

I went on a trip to Europe from the 3rd to the 10th of April. Our destination was Croatia and Slovenia. It has been quite a while since I have been overseas, maybe　more than 10 years. During my trip, I often thought about my horse and was quite concerned about my health but it was a groundless fear. While I was away, my club trainer took good care of my horse. My health, as well, was perfectly okay. I felt so much younger after I came back to Japan. With this condition and assurance about my horse and health, I may be able to go on another trip abroad in the future. The weather in these two places were perfect. The scenery was breathtaking and marvelous. The food wasn't really my favorite cuisine but it wasn't that bad. The local people were kind and hospitable. Twenty years ago, the civil war ended. Today, both countries are very peaceful. A memorial on top of the hill was built in honor for those people who died during the war.

誇りのご子息

　今回のツアーの参加者は、北は北海道から南は宮崎までと様々でした。
その中で、あるご夫妻の実家は昔生産牧場を経営されていたそうです。そして現在息子さんがJRAで、誘導馬に乗るお仕事をしていられるそうです。

元気だったね！

　11日ぶりに会うシャル君はとても元気でした。お任せした以上は、取り越し苦労をしないようにしていて正解でした。これなら来年も旅行大丈夫そうだなと思いました。
自分の体調にも自信を持てたし、シャル君と元気比べをします。
僅か10日余りなのに、周りの景色はすっかり新緑にかわっていました。つつじも咲き始めました。
いつものように放牧すると嬉しそうにしていました。伸びた青草が美味しそうです。
そのあとパパとレッスンして手入れをして帰りました。

道路建設が近くでまた再開です。遺跡がでるたび中断されると聞きました。
