馬のためそれとも自分の満足感

久しぶりに引き込まれた本でした。友人からレターパックが届き、あけたその瞬間から3時間一気に読み終えました。

馬の描写が、本当に馬を知る人ではないような気がしましたが、主人公は馬に心をうばわれた女性ですからこちらの描写が大事なのでしょう。

冷静な判断はいつも大事で、間違うと悲惨な結果になりますね。

"I was completely drawn into this book after a long time. A friend sent it to me in a letter pack, and from the moment I opened it, I read it straight through in three hours.

The depiction of horses didn't feel like it came from someone who truly understands horses, but since the protagonist is a woman captivated by them, perhaps her portrayal was the more essential focus.

Keeping a cool head is always important; a wrong decision can lead to disastrous results."

逃げ出したゾウさんたち

7月1２日の夕刊でみた昔の写真に思わず見入ってしまいました。

ゾウさんたちは無事にとりおさえらえたそうです。

馬も驚いたら目的もなく走りだしてしまいます。ただ途中で不安になりとまってウロウロする子もいます。

"I couldn't help but be captivated by the old photos I saw in the evening paper on July 12th.

I heard the elephants were safely captured.

Horses, too, will start running aimlessly when startled. However, some will stop and wander around uneasily halfway through."

Yabusame, with its bravery and beauty, thrills the hearts of spectators. However, capturing that moment with a camera is difficult.

感動したことふたつ

昨日のダービで優勝に輝いたダノンデサイルV！

優勝もすばらしいことだが、その裏にある馬と騎手と調教師の三人の物語は感動です。

４月の皐月賞でスタート直前でレースを回避、なぜならば右前肢の小さな異変みのがすことなく、見くびらず馬を大事に扱い、今回のダービー制覇につながりました。

素晴らしい！これから応援していきます。

Danon de Sile V triumphed in yesterday's Derby!

The victory itself is remarkable, but the story of the horse, jockey, and trainer behind it is truly touching.

In April's Satsuki Sho, they withdrew from the race just before the start due to a minor anomaly in the horse's right foreleg. They didn't overlook it and took great care of the horse, which led to this Derby victory

Amazing! I will continue to support them from now on.

５月１３日の朝日新聞の、声の欄への投稿です。

語学は読み　書き　聞き　話すができて成立する。どれが一番興味がわくかはひとによつて多少の差はあると思いますが

今までは話すということがおろそかにされてきたと思います。

それに話す力をためす試験はいままでになかったのです。

最近はAIを使って会話力をテストできるようになりました。

英検やトーイックは過去に受けてきたので、自分の場合はスピーキング力を伸ばすのが目的です。

B2レベル８より抜け出るのは至難の業だとおもっています。レベル９に行くのが夢です。

 

The foundation of language proficiency lies in the ability to read, write, listen, and speak. While the aspect that sparks the most interest varies from person to person, I believe that speaking has often been neglected until now. Furthermore, there haven't been many tests to assess speaking skills.

Recently, with the use of AI, it has become possible to test conversational abilities. Having previously taken exams like the Eiken or TOEIC, I aim to improve my speaking skills. I believe breaking out of the B2 level is a formidable challenge, but I will do my best.
