24年前に乗馬に誘ってくれたMさん、年賀状のみの音信となっていました。

昨日届いたお便りで、それは見事な達筆で和歌を習い始めたとしたためてありました。

私も優美な古今和歌集や万葉集など大好きですが、ここまでくれば彼女のはもはや芸術の域です。

Msan, who invited me to go horseback riding 24 years ago, and I have only been in contact through New Year's cards.

Yesterday, I received a letter from her, written in splendid calligraphy, saying that she had begun studying waka poetry.

I also love the graceful poetry of the Kokin Wakashu and the Manyoshu, but her work has reached the level of true artistry.
